UnEnchanted by Chanda Hahn
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Okay. So, I immensely enjoyed this book that I had finished it before I realized that it was the end of the book.
The characters were absolutely well written. Unlike many other YA Faerie fiction, the female protagonist has depth, and plenty of it. Her mother is very interesting, and her little brother must have a bigger part to play. (Only I haven't figured out for what purpose.) The questionable shaky part is that she is interested in the most popular boy in high-school. To me, the popular boy is always my least favorite character.(view spoiler)
The plot was action packed and fast paced. Like I said before I knew it, I was finished with it. Don't miss out on this interesting use of the Grimms' Fairy Stories. If you haven't read: The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales, you really need to before reading this. Have a fun and whimsical time of it.
Well I'm off to the next book...
Cheers!
